DOLCE & GABBANA – The Velvet Collection – New perfumes

Niche brands in perfumery have achieved over the years 1990 and 2000 especially, a remarkable breakthrough, attracting consumers increasingly fond of high quality and rarity. The major players in perfumery are in turn set out to create their exclusive collections based on their olfactory heritage but also some new features.

After a first collection for a young audience with D & G The Collection, Dolce & Gabbana is launching now launching The Velvet Collection highlighting the inspiration of Italian designers and their love for beautiful materials. It has six fragrances:

Velvet Love, inspired by Lake Como and the sun reflecting off its waters with notes of ylang-ylang and pepper.

Velvet Sublime, inspired by Sicilian orange and with an heart of orange blossom and neroli.

Velvet Desire involving white flowers such as gardenia, frangipani blossom and tuberose. This fragrance is the spirit of the Italian Renaissance.

Velvet Vetiver encapsulates the smell of the Mediterranean Sea with the elegance and perfection of vetiver, fig and galbanum.

Velvet Wood offers a scent like a deep ebony lacquer around leathery and resinous notes.

Velvet Patchouli, incense inspired by and built around the patchouli.
